| Betting Portfolio ($100): Tips, suggested bets and feature race preview for the Caulfield Guineas 10/10/2026. Including feature race previews for the Might and Power, Caulfield Guineas and Toorak Handicap. Fine weather heading into the weekend and just a few showers forecast for Saturday so this track should come up perfect. Often Caulfield Guineas Day can favour those on-speed, but that is normally on warm, sunny and drying days so that is probably pretty unlikely this year, but just keep an eye on the racing pattern regardless. Rail goes back to TRUE, for the first time since Memsie Stakes meeting so the best ground will probably be close to the fence early on and definitely elevate those drawn well and on-speed today. We have had a fairly lean spring, but this is always a good punting program and we normally do pretty well on Caulfield Guineas Day (without jinxing ourselves) so we will double up to $100 in the Suggested Bets. For those of you planning to create multis on the short priced favourite Race 7: 6-SHEZA ALIBI, she is definitely flying and the one to beat, but have a read of the record of short-priced favourites in this race in our feature race preview below. For Spring Campaign 2026 we won’t be posting tips till Saturday morning (earlier if time allows). Feature race preview at the bottom of this post. BEST WIN: Race 8: 5-BLIND RAISE $15 WIN QUINELLA: Race 8: 5-BLIND RAISE#2,6,8,9 x $8 = 200% We are keen to go with the local horse in the Caulfield Guineas, he has been quite dominant in both runs this time in and has won with something in hand and it is not often you see that. Good barrier, can jump and sit on-speed and there doesn’t look to be much in the way of tempo and just suspect he may be stronger than his main rival at the end of the 1600M. Back straight out at around $3.50 and anchor him in a quinella in a race where a few at odds can run into the finish at the end of the mile. So taking the Sydney contender the 2-WARWOVEN, the under-rated 6-DIAMETER who has a good sprint, and the strong finishing 8-SOMETHINGS BURNIN’ and 9-WOLF GAP both at odds who will be running on late. BEST EACH WAY: Race 2: 7-SUPERBEC $5 EW QUINELLA: Race 2: 7-SUPERBEC#1,4,9 x $3 = 100% Pretty even field here and we have a few at the bottom coming off good maiden wins, but prefer this one as she has shown form in town before as well and is more experienced. Drawn well and likely to go to the lead here and that should be a plus early on in the day, and she really streaked away from them last start. Previous start at Sandown she fought the finish right out. Looks a nice each way bet at around $13 and anchor in a quinella with the consistent, 4-JACARANDA, the improving 9-FIERY FUN and the 1-VERZAIN who may improve today. BEST EACH WAY: Race 4: 4-ZAKOUMA $7.50 EW Very promising stayer who is already assured a run in the Melbourne Cup, so there is always the danger that they are not fully wound up yet, but he just looks primed to win a race now. Fitter for the two runs in, both have been good and he has been strong late, out to the suitable 2400M trip today and most important gets a genuine tempo with a few who can go forward in this. Likely to be coming over the top of them late and show his spring potential today. Each way at around $6. BEST EACH WAY: Race 5: 1-ABOUNDING $7.50 EW This one is always consistent at this level and she didn’t have the best of luck a few times last spring, mainly struggling to get clear runs from inside barriers so we are a bit nervous about the inside barrier here today. Gets the dry ground she prefers, this is short of her best distance, but she still has good 1200M stats and she never appreciated the straight last start so totally forgive that run. Blinkers on today is interesting and suspect she settles more forward and might be slicing through the pack late running into the finish and jockey McDonald on board. Each way at around $10. BEST EACH WAY: Race 9: 12-WELCOMETOTHESHOW $7 EW QUINELLA: Race 9: 5,6,9,12,13 boxed x $5 = 50% Totally playing favourites here as we have been following this one over the last year as he has gone through the grades and keen to see what he can do first time in a Group 1 feature mile. Form this time in has been excellent, just missed first-up here, set an impossible task at Goulburn from an outside barrier and was strong late, and then perfect ride to hunt forward early and take a position and win at Flemington. Maintains a really strong win strike rate and drawn well here and suspect jockey Newitt pushes forward early again to sit midfield or better. Has a sensational sprint when let down and the speed here should be genuine. Each way at around $14 and box up a quinella with the 13-CHANGING COLOURS who is flying, the 6-REGAL AWARD who will lead and be hard to run down if the track is favouring those on-speed, and two roughies in the strong finishing 9-SUN GOD and the 5-VON HAUKE who always seems to be under-estimated in these sort of races. BEST ROUGH: Race 1: 5-REGAL LION $2.50 EW This race has quite a few up and comers, but there is also a decent tempo and most of them are stepping up in class and distance. This one is proven over further to 2000M and he didn’t have the best of luck last time when he didn’t get a clear run back in the field. He has this sneaky habit of taking off early in the race and looping them and putting the speed on and often that can find other horses out. Stable is flying at the moment and watch out for that mid-race move. Rough at around $25. BEST ROUGH: Race 10: 15-WONDER BOY $2.50 EW One who has ability but probably doesn’t win as often as he should, he needs firm ground and a genuine tempo to run-on off which he is going to get today. This is a very even field and always forgive them a run down the straight, as so many horses don’t adjust to it. Much better suited out to 1400M here and hopefully settles more forward from a good barrier. Rough at around $25 to end the day. LAY OF THE DAY: Race 4: 12-PINHOLE at around $3.50 We have been stung twice in the last two weeks here so the pressure is on today. This one is an improving import stayer who was strong wining last start in Sydney, but he is stepping up in class here against a lot of tough proven stayers and just seems too short at these odds in this field. These staying races are always a lot more even than they seem. Risking. TURF DELI WONDER BET: Here we try and turn $5 into enough to sponsor a MRC Instagram Influencer. $5 ALL UP PLACE Race 2: 4-JACARANDA PLACE Race 5: 1-ABOUNDING PLACE Race 6: 6-GRAND LARCENY PLACE Race 10: 12-HARRY’S YACHT Poor Man’s Quaddie for a feature race program tending towards those on-speed. Particularly keen to see what the Race 6: 6-GRAND LARCENY can do today in his new preparation. Looking at around $200 for a $5 outlay. SUGGESTED QUADDIE: Races 7,8,9,10: 1,4,6 / 2,5 / 5,6,9,12,13,15 / 4,5,12,14,15,17 x $20 = 9.25% Given the record of short-priced favourites in the Might and Power, definitely worth putting some others in the first leg, can confidentially narrow down the feature race to the two favourites and go wide and wider in the last two legs where there is a good chance of a double figure winner. Feature Race Preview: RACE 7: MIGHT AND POWER 2000M GROUP 1 For the Might and Power Stakes it’s a shame we always get such a small field for this race, which can mean the tempo can be all over the place and it is actually not impossible for short priced favourites to get beaten in this race. In fact is quite common! In the last 7 years, 6 short priced favourites have been beaten including 2025 TREASURETHE MOMENT 2nd W=$1.60, 2024 MR BRIGHTSIDE 2nd W=$1.75, 2023 JUST FINE 10th W=$3.10, 2021 ZAAKI 3rd $1.28, 2020 RUSSIAN CAMELOT 2nd $1.40, 2019 AVILIUS 4th $2.05. So definitely would not be going one out in the quaddie on the short priced favourite this year. Runner by Runner comments: 1-BIRDMAN really went up a notch last preparation and he has gone right on with it this time in, impressively winning the Underwood here last start. Runs out a strong 2000M which is important and best form is on dry tracks and he seems to be more versatile these days – previously he was a solid staying type and now he seems to be a top grade WFA horse. Question is how he handles the small field and the lack of genuine speed today, but he is going better than ever and looks extremely hard to beat here, Strong chance. 2-LAND LEGEND is an average staying type who best run was in the Caulfield Cup in in 2024 when he ran third. Hasn’t won a race in that time, but has been consistently racing at the top level. Dry track suits, but tends to drop back in his races, would be a good chance to take him forward today. Hasn’t got the dash to match it with these. No. 3-TORRANZINO is super honest and still amazed he managed to go to a Melbourne Cup and run a very credible 6th. Only the one run this time in and normally takes a few runs and out to a distance to find form and he is a pretty dour drop back stayer these days. No. 4-KINGSWOOD has always probably been a little under-rated and super tough win here first-up a few weeks back with big weight from an outside barrier. Even effort here last start and well held by the (1). May prefer tracks with some give in them? Interesting runner though as he is the likely leader here and won’t get any pressure up front, so it’s totally up to him how this race is run. Rough chance and probably runs a cheeky race here. 5-TREASURETHE MOMENT has punters pulling their hair out trying to work out which weeks she is on and which weeks she is off. She is top notch when she is in from, but keeps mixing it up with underwhelming runs. She worked home well last start along the inside, but she was a beaten short-priced favourite in this race last year with much better lead in form. She can also race handy and she can win this on her best form – but will she show it? Chance. 6-SHEZA ALIBI needs no introduction as the boom horse of the spring and she total demolished a good field last start and ran straight past them. She has a dazzling turn of foot which means a slow tempo shouldn’t be any issue here. She needs to get over the short-priced favourite hoodoo in this race though and the key question is going over 2000M for the first time, and that is always an issue as AUTUMN GLOW found out earlier in the year. Obviously one to beat and she is totally untapped still so 2000M may not be the slightest concern. Summary: In a perfect world the 6-SHEZA ALIBI goes on her merry winning way here, but really given the utterly appalling record of favourites in this race you would have to be brave to load up. Hence going for the proven over 2000M and improving 1-BIRDMAN on top from the 6-SHEZA ALIBI and let’s put the 4-KINGSWOOD in for third for something different. Feature Race Preview: RACE 8 CAULFIELD GUINEAS GROUP 1 3YO 1600M. The Caulfield Guineas is always a great punting race as we try and line up the Sydney to Melbourne form, and who will run out 1600M. Field is a bit on the smaller side this year and there seems to be a distinct lack of speed. Looking over previous years the betting market has been a pretty good guide recently, the favourite has won 7 of the last 15 runnings of the Caulfield Guineas and 9/15 have come through Sydney form, 4 through the Guineas Prelude and 2 through the Bill Stutt Stakes. Never hurts to look at the best run out of the Caulfield Guineas though which was clearly the winner the 5-BLIND RAISE. In terms of speed, really not sure what leads here, there is a good chance the two favourites will jump first and second in the 2-WARWOVEN and 5-BLIND RAISE and they could clear out on the turn and that could make for a very interesting race, but you would hope something like the 1-UNIT FIVE or the 3-TORNADO VALLEY goes forward and allows them to take a sit on the more favoured runners. 11-CALL ME COACH likely to settle just behind the speed. There doesn’t seem to be much speed at all, but also suspect the pressure will go on early here as the others try and run into the race. Runner by Runner comments: 1-UNIT FIVE was a brilliant early 2YO but it does look like they have caught up to him now. Tough effort first-up when he landed just behind the speed and went right to the line to be narrowly beaten, and then well in the market when disappointing at Flemington and jockey said he probably prefers softer tracks. Drawn well and they probably go more forward today? Definite query at the 1600M and basically he just doesn’t have the right form lines for this race, though there was nothing wrong with the first-up run here so he is probably over the odds for one bad run. Place only. 2-WARWOVEN ticks the box of the classy Sydney horse in winning form and short-priced favourite and these types are always hard to beat in this race. Right in the market and finish in most of his 2YO races, but always thought he was a bit over-rated and started really short odds, but has shown his potential this time in as a 3YO. Good on-pace win second run this time in and then totally dashed away from them in the Golden Rose last start and that is often the strongest form line for this race. Punters have let him go around and win at $6 and $8 last two starts, after consistently starting short-priced favourite as a 2YO. Versatile and he can settle handy on-speed here from a good barrier and give himself every chance. If there is no pressure up front here, he is going to be very hard to beat, if there is pressure early will be interesting to see if he is run down late over the 1600M, which may be the only query. Hard to beat. 3-TORNADO VALLEY was up and running as an early 2YO and he has kept his form through a few preparations now. Fitter for the three runs in and he can race handy and go forward here. Does meet the (5) slightly better off at weights for last few runs, but he has been well held by that one. Was only holding ground here last start, but not sure that was a sign he would run a strong 1600M today and not sure there is much improvement to come here. Prefer others. 4-TRON BOLT is proven over the 1600M with QLD winter wins and he will definitely run this trip out. Much fitter for the two runs in and stepping up in distance suits here, he will drop back and run into the race down the middle of the track and he will need a racing pattern and race tempo to suit. He has hit the line well both starts this time in, without being outstanding. Suspect he does the same here, run into the finish late and he is probably going to be the one you want to follow going forward over further distance this spring. Seems under the odds to us. Place only. 5-BLIND RAISE has been the dominant Melbourne 3YO this spring and his wins have been seriously impressive. Trialled extremely well coming into his first-up run, and won running away from them there, before handling a messy race shape in the Guineas Prelude where they looped him before the turn to try and run into the race, but he kept his cool and was again dashing away from them on the line. So much to like about this horse, he has been clearly beating his rivals in Melbourne, he is versatile, he is well drawn and will race on-speed and get every chance and he probably still has more improvement to come off the last run. Normally a dominant Melbourne 3YO Caulfield Guineas Prelude winner would be pretty hard to beat here, and we are always perplexed about the Melbourne vs Sydney thing, if he had been in Sydney and winning like this he would be even money here. One to beat. 6-DIAMETER is a very consistent type who proved himself over this distance as a 2YO. Has been progressing nicely this time in and was an eye-catcher at Flemington two starts back when he was held up for most of the straight before poking through late, and then like the way he was able to take the gap here last start to sprint through and win. Seems to have a good sprint on him and that may be a plus here in a race where there doesn’t seem to be much speed. Drawn out and he may get caught wide here, but at least he can sprint into the race on the turn and not be held up like the last two starts. Like the way this one is going and think he is well over the odds here. Best rough. 7-CENTRAL EUROPE is still a maiden but has run some good races at the top levels. Hit the line well first-up and then was in the finish and in restricted room second-up, before being taken to the lead last start and really given no chance. Have to respect the stable and jockey combo, but does look to have a task here as was well beaten by the (2) last start. Probably settles handy and won’t be too far off them, but looks safely held. Passing. 8-SOMETHINGS BURNIN' has had a great preparation and he probably could have been undefeated this time in – held up for runs at the back of the field at Sandown and got out too late and came home hard, dropped to the back of the field at Flemington and made long sustained run from the back of the field (and inside of the track was better that day), and then hit the lead and looked the winner here last start, but the (6) dashed through the gap underneath him. Strong finisher who will definitely run out the mile, but will drop out the back here so will want a solid tempo and a run-on pattern. Might give some good ones too much of a head start here, but he will be running on and looks a great place chance at odds – he won’t be far off here. Rough only. 9-WOLF GAP has shown signs of promise this time in, first-up at Sandown he just got far too far back and the classy (4) pinched a break and scooted clear, but he worked home really nicely and looked like one to follow. Total forgive run last start when jockey had to go early before the turn to try and get into the race on a leader’s track, and he run out of puff late. So hard to line up exactly how good this one is and he is likely to improve even further going out to the 1600M and with the two runs in. Likely to settle back again, so he is going to need a track that favours his racing style and a decent tempo up front and not sure he gets either today. But can be ridden quietly out the back of the field here and run his own race. Will be coming home hard late and running out this distance so definitely put in exotics. Rough. 10-SERAPHOX showed solid form in his first preparation and was an eye-catching run over Flemington 1400M back in April. Fitter for the two runs in, and nice run weaving through the field late first-up, before being safely held second up. He can jump and race handy here and this one actually goes OK, but main issue is that he has been safely held by these the last few starts so deserves to be long odds. No. 11-CALL ME COACH is undefeated in two career starts, but he is coming into this race with extremely untraditional form lines. Only his third start and thrown in here against some very well established 3YOs, and going from a BM66 to a Group 1. Soft win but only beat three other horses home last start when short priced favourite. Probably settles handy here from a good barrier, but prefer to be on more established types coming through traditional form lines. No. Summary: This really looks a race between the two favourites here, but we are going to tend towards the Melbourne form and the 5-BLIND RAISE who might have more improvement to come than his main Sydney rival and he has been quite dominant in this two Melbourne wins this time in. It’s not often we have a Melbourne 3YO winning like this going into the Caulfield Guineas and he may be strong late in the race when it counts. The 2-WARWOVEN is going to get a perfect run here and be extremely hard to beat and probably bursts clear early in the straight for one to come and run him down. Best roughie is the 6-DIAMETER in winning form over the distance and he has a good turn of foot if this turns into a sprint home. Happy to have a confident win bet on the top pick though. Feature Race Preview: RACE 9 TOORAK HANDICAP GROUP 1 1600M For the Toorak Handicap, there is a lot of talk about around social media about the quality of the field here, but we reckon this is a great field and exactly the sort of mix of horses you want for a feature mile race under handicap conditions. Makes for a great betting race. Interestingly we have 8 of the 15 runners coming through the Rupert Clarke and don’t remember anyone complaining about the quality of that race. At least for once we have a clear leader here in the 6-REGAL AWARD who will jump and run them along here, jockey just needs to get him to firstly jump with them and secondly settle. The 1-EVAPORATE will probably make his early move to go forward, and the 7-HELLSING likely to settle handy as well. Behind these the 2-LADY SHENANDOAH and the 4-FEROCE next in running. Question is always with these feature miles is if they will go fast enough to run them along and allow the backmarkers to run into the race, the answer is almost certainly yes as 6-REGAL AWARD doesn’t tend to mess around when he goes forward. Runner by Runner comments: 1-EVAPORATE is always around the money in these sort of races, but he hasn’t landed a Group 1 yet, finishing second in an AllStar Mile, 3rd in an C.F.Orr, 3rd in a Caulfield Guineas in 2024 and 2nd in this race last year – so surely he gets his chance here to finally win one of these races? Solid effort at WFA first-up and then had to knuckle down to win at Sandown and those are the sorts of races he would normally miss out in. Had to work hard early here last start to go forward from an outside barrier, but was disappointing and maybe the drop back to 1400M wasn’t a great idea? Drawn well today, excellent distance stats, firm track suits and he can go forward here and get the run of the race. Last year he had to make a long sustained run to try and run down an all the way leader and only just missed. Has to be respected even with the big weight here, but he may be better off racing at WFA these days as he does have to give most of the field here 4 or more kgs. Chance. 2-LADY SHENANDOAH is a really consistent Sydney mare, who hasn’t managed to win for 18 months now, but she is just about always in the finish. 1600M is probably right at the top of her distance range and she has to carry 58kgs here in a handicap which might be an ask. Fitter for the two runs in and she was in the worse going along the inside here in the Rupert Clarke, when once again she was in the finish, but safely held. Firm track is a plus and she can race on-speed and normally class on-speed mares are pretty hard to beat in this race. She has raced below par now in both of her Melbourne runs, so just wonder about her carrying weight over 1600M here – this may be testing her limits. Ultra-consistent but prefer the place. Place. 3-WARNIE has had a great preparation, finishing on strongly first-up, and then running on strongly late over the top of them at Sandown to win. Rupert Clarke run was pretty good, was launching into the race and didn’t get much in the way of clear running room. Strong finisher who is likely to drop back here in a big field from barrier 1 and he will need a lot of luck getting a clear run. 1600M may be a bit of a query too, and he is well up in the weight scale here. Would need a track where they can run on and win and very solid tempo to run into the race. Place. 4-FEROCE loves to roll on-speed in these sort of races on dry tracks and he normally takes a few runs to find his form each preparation, so this looks a perfect set up here. Drawn out though so he may get caught wide here and normally he goes forward to sit just behind the speed. He is just about ready to do something today and 1600M is his preferred distance, but another who may be around the money and not win. Place. 5-VON HAUKE just loves these feature miles and he has won a Bendigo Golden Mile and a MV Crystal vase over the last year, but six starts at Caulfield for 0-0-0 is a bit of a worry. But looking at those Caulfield runs they have all been over 1100m to 1400m and this is his first time racing at Caulfield over his preferred distance. Hit the line really well here first-up and he can come to hand quickly in a preparation. Drawn wide is a plus as he likes to drop back and he can run on down the middle of the track if the speed is on and if the racing pattern allows. Good rough chance here, he keeps getting underestimated in these sort of races. Rough. 6-REGAL AWARD has a stack of ability, but he has a few issues, sometimes he can over-race if not leading and sometimes he can also be slowly away. When allowed to free-roll on-speed he is really tough to beat and showed that when he won by 7L this track and distance on the Weds meeting last year after not making the Caulfield Guineas field (he may have gone close to winning that race too). Solid effort leading first-up in the Rupert Clarke, the track had cut up by then and the rails were off and he fought on well when leading. Jockey Neindorf knows how to get him to jump and settle on-speed and has been on board for is best wins. Likely leader here from an inside barrier and he won’t dawdle, he will run them along here. If the track is favouring those on-speed he is going to be extremely hard to beat. Not sure he deserves to be $5 here but looks a very strong chance. Strong chance. 7-HELLSING is a Sydney miler coming into this race second-up, off an only fair run in the Newcastle feature mile-ish race. Drawn wide and likes to settle handy so he is going to have to work to go forward here and he is rising substantially in class and we probably know his level by now. Good chance the leader will run them along here and not sure that suits the racing pattern for this one. Passing. 8-SABAJ has a sensational finishing burst and was interested to see what he could do this spring, but the two runs in have been pretty disappointing, even if they have been in top level Group 1 races. Last campaign finished fourth in an All Star Mile and fourth again in an Australian Cup. Well detached from the bulk of the field last start and he made some ground, but he was never going to get into the finish. Surprised he is only $10 here, as didn’t think much of his runs this time in, but out to 1600M and onto a dry track with two runs in he is probably due to show something here. Watch the market on this one, on his best form he is right in the finish here. Rough. 9-SUN GOD has some really strong Syd and Qld form over the mile, and he is the sort of strong finisher you want in a feature handicap mile. He came closest to the inside last start in the Rupert Clarke which was definitely the worse going and he wasn’t that far off them. Fitter for that run and dry track and 1600M suits, and like the nice barrier for this one, he can sit mid-field and run on strongly here. Going to get a good trail into the race here. Keep this one safe, he has a good win strike rate and put in some great runs last time in so is a genuine rough chance here. Rough. 10-PANOVA contested the various Oaks over the previous season, but she was a strong winner over the 1600M on Derby Day and beat the favourite the (6) that day. One run in over 1400M and that was too short for her and much better suited up in distance here. Drawn wide and likely to drop back and try and run on down the middle of the track, just get the feeling she probably needs one more run this time in before being a serious winning chance. No. 11-TOO DARN DISCREET is a super consistent mare who is tough in a finish and she comes into this right at the bottom of the weight scale and she has the ability to be a factor in this. Maintains an excellent win strike rate and fitter for the two runs in which have both been excellent, stormed home late to just miss at Flemington, and then beaten by the (13) here last start, who came from behind her and went straight past her and won going away – so hard to see her turning the tables today on that one. Drawn wide here and likely to drop back, but think she is better ridden that way. Not hopeless here, but probably more a rough place chance. Rough place. 12-WELCOMETOTHESHOW is one we have been following over the last year and it has been awesome and most profitable to watch him go through the grades, as he always showed he had a fair bit of ability. Cranbourne win back in December was extraordinary when he was travelling with nowhere to go on the turn and a miraculous gap opened up – but he was good enough to take it. Has gone on with it this time in, only just missed here first-up, faced a ridiculous task trying to win from an outside barrier at Goulburn second up and was still strong late, and sensational ride by jockey last start to push him along a bit early to take up a position. Second horse from last start has since won as well. Faces a big ask here up to Group 1 level, but this is the perfect race for him as he goes through his grades and comes into this with a nice light weight. Jockey Newitt knows how to ride this one and has stuck with him as he knows he has talent. Excellent win strike rate and he is up to these – maybe just needs to settle mid-field or better today so he can sprint into the races before the genuine backmarkers do. Strong chance. 13-CHANGING COLOURS has been flying this time in and full confession we have totally missed her this preparation and it has been costly. In form mares are hard to beat in this race and she is well proven over the mile with excellent distance stats. Win here last start was top notch, perfect trail into the race and went past them easily to win going away. Keeping her form and just going up in grade each time and winning just as easily. Drawn well and can take a position here and get every chance and will sprint clear before a lot of the backmarkers get into the race. Strong chance. 14-PONDALOWIE surprised everyone coming out of nowhere to win last start at Flemington, after quite a few frustrating preparations when she showed some potential but just couldn’t find the right race or distance. Best ridden cold at the back of the field (has led a few times too!), but 1600M stats are not the best and looks a genuine query at the distance. Did everything just fall into place last start? Happy to risk. 15-SALTY PEARL is another we follow closely and she is just so honest and always in the finish. Fitter for the two runs in and they have both been good, making good ground first-up hard against the rails and working into the finish last start (but worth noting both the (11) and the (14) went past her there). Should have plenty of improvement to come here and jockey Williams goes on board. Well drawn and can settle handy and she is another who is a genuine winning chance in this. Chance. Summary: There are a lot of genuine winning chances here and like most feature miles good chance of a double figure winner. The 6-REGAL AWARD is going to be hard to beat and he is probably the one to beat from the many runners coming out of the Rupert Clarke, he does need to settle though and would elevate if the track favoured those on-speed. Not sure he is value at the current odds. Looking for those who will settle mid-field and sprint clear early in the straight before the backmarkers wind up and that looks like the 12-WELCOMETOTHESHOW and the 13-CHANGING COLOURS, both fit and in form and lightly weighted here and these are the two we want to stick with in an even field. Because we have been following the 12-WELCOMETOTHESHOW all the way through we need to stick with him on top and show our loyalty, from the 13-CHANGING COLOURS and the 6-REGAL AWARD. Outside of that the best roughies are the 9-SUN GOD and the 5-VON HAUKE, who will both be suited if they can run on and win today. |
