Turf Deli Spring Campaign 2012

Long, long ago, an ancient race made a prophecy that a far-too-blue newsletter would slip into your inbox on a Friday arvo to herald the coming of warmth, sunshine, good times, prosperity, crappy gags, tips and most importantly - Spring 2012.

Those ancient Mayans were amazingly spot on the money.

They were also thoughtful enough to slot the end of the world in for December 2012, so it wouldn't right royally stuff up our long range Cups Doubles.

With the global Olympics razzle dazzle now relegated to the highlights reel, the Turf Deli team can now reclaim what is rightfully theirs - the words elite, gold, silver, bronze, personal best and most importantly "oh well, there is always 4 years time".

All done with the additional bonus of not even having to leave the couch – especially not before midday or if it is a bit nippy.

Like the Olympic motto of Faster, Higher, Stronger, we solemnly vow to uphold the Punter’s motto of Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda

We take a pledge to tip as least as many winners this spring as Australian gold medals.

And we want our own street parade at the end of it else we are taking the good ball and going home.

So there.

With scandal rocking the racing world in previous weeks who knows what else is in store this spring.

Controversy....Elation.....Bales of Hay.

Anything is possible.

Will the media question BLACK CAVIAR's athletic condition when she looks a bit frumpy beach side in her spandex suit ?

Will the Queen top off her party year by star jumping off the Melbourne Cup winner ?

And will anyone bother with the new TAB website ?

The Turf Deli Spring Campaign 2012 will operate as follows:

Every week, for the meetings listed below, we will send forth our newsletters into the great unknown and also into your inbox. There will be plenty of tips and suggested bets for the casual and serious punter alike. Plus a critical form analysis for the main race of the day for those who are well versed in the fine art of form appraisal. And as always, we will continue to cover all the big stories and issues in racing - with the scantest regard for fact and milking every cheap gag we can.

The newsletter emails will be sent out by 5pm on the day before the race meeting.
